East Lake's PTSA is sponsoring a Night of Service Learning tomorrow night at 7 in the cafeteria. Service learning hours, or volunteer hours, are required for Bright Future scholarships. A variety of community organizations will be at this special event to recruit teen volunteers. Find out more tomorrow night; all are welcome.
Chick-Fil-A sandwiches will be sold for $3 every Tuesday after school by the flag pole and by the student parking lot. This is a fundraiser for Relay for Life by Team Mad Hatters. Bring your money and enjoy helping a great cause!
Today is the first day of February, a month noted for its celebration of African American History. This month Eagle Eye will recognize African American achievements each Monday and Friday. Today we feature Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space.
