Principal Poth alerts students to the importance of FCAT and steps to take to help them succeed. Tomorrow all 9th and 10th graders take the Reading FCAT, and Wednesday they take the Math. Thursday is for 11th graders to take Science FCAT. Each day the tests start promptly at 1st period bell. It is important to be on time, or a makeup day will be assigned.
Congratulations to our East Lake Orchestra! They earned straight Superior ratings in all four performances at last week's Florida Orchestra Association competition.
Eagle Eye has two video stories today. One shows highlights of the Eaglettes Dance Team winning performance at States, and the second video gives information about the upcoming Principal's Multicultural Advisory Committee's conference at school on March 19th. The conference is open to all students. Applications are available in the library and in Mr. Meredith's room 3119. Pick one up and return the application by Friday, March 12th. Space is limited, so don't miss out.

Science National Honor Society meets in room 2213 on Wednesday. All Relay for Life teams have a party meeting on Wednesday in room 9117. National Arts Honor Society meets on Thursday, and the Spanish National Honor Society has their induction ceremony on Thursday. Rho Kappa meets this week on Friday after school in Mr. Kay's room.
