Along with the honors given at East Lake's Awards Ceremony last night, a second award program took place at Ruth Eckerd Hall; Walker's Rising Star, a scholarship competition for students of the arts. Eagle Eye is proud to recognize our team member Collin Bernard who won 1st place for best video. He and his Countryside High School video partner Nile Madley will share the $5,000 scholarship award. Congratulations to both!
Today on Eagle Eye the school music video is broadcast for some end of year school spirit. More school spirit is expected on the football field tonight at 7:30 when the football team takes on Gibbs in the first home game of spring.
This weekend Memorial Day is celebrated across the country. At the final chorus concert of the year this past Wednesday, Mr. Knabel led the chorus in a musical tribute to all the men and women in military service. Eagle Eye shares the video of their performance at the end of today's show. Remember those who served and died for our country.
