EAGLE EYE STUDIO -

Happy June to all! Today begins the last week of classes for 2009-2010. The 1st period final exam is on Friday, June 4th from 7:05 to 9:20 a.m. After the exam, regular classes will resume; periods 2 through 7. Any students who plan to leave early on any exam days must bring a note to student services by 7:00 a.m. No phone calls or faxes will be accepted, and no one will be allowed to leave an exam early. This applies to all exam days with no exceptions.
Textbooks and library books must be returned before taking exams. A library obligation list has been distributed to all teachers. Students on the list need to see a librarian for a clearance slip.
Seniors who need a final transcript sent to their chosen college should see Mrs. Walker in Guidance before school ends. The cost is $1 per transcript; they will be sent out the week of June 28th.
Congratulations to track and field team members Alicia Aldridge and Brooke Ciciero. They were selected for the All Pinellas County track and field teams.
Eagle Eye News regrets due to computer error today's show was not recorded. This was the last show for senior anchors Avery Fox and Chelsea Elliott; we will miss them.
Principal Poth also gave his message of the week and focused on exam preparations.
Two videos were broadcast today. One featured an interview with a new teacher this year, Lawrence Samuels, who also happens to be one of the top receivers in professional football. He plays with the Tampa Bay Storm in Arena Football. The second video was the award winning music video "Respect" by Collin Bernard and Countryside HS student Nile Madley. Their video won 1st place at Walker's Rising Stars scholarship competition.
